Luna Pearl hoped that one day, her house would look just like the grand houses in her neighborhood.
But for now, she just had to settle with this. And she was content.
Luna knew since she was very young that she wanted to be a journalist. A top journalist- and an author. So she left her tiny abode to get a job at the Newspaper.
As soon as she walked into the building, she tensed. Her heart sped up. This was the job of her dreams. She had studied long and hard at Smugglesworth Prep School simply for this job. Would it all be wasted?
Let's just say her hard work was all worth it :)
She decided to stop at the library to work on her first Novel, Crazy in Love.
She sat down at the old computer, obviously an old fashioned one, with no internet connection and a very old-styled document maker. But it was somewhere.
She began to type, her fingers flying across the keyboard and all her ideas pouring into the machine. It would be a love story, she decided, a love story about her life- a love story about her and Michael when they were young.
She finally got bored of writing and in a lovey-dovey mood, she decided to look for a spouse. Being single didn't excite her at all.
She decided to head to the gym, thinking about love.
The gym was where everyone hung out. It was THE coolest place for boys in sunset valley.
Luna decided to go for a swim. Swimming was a favorite activity of hers, it took away all the stress and made her feel good about herself.
She looked up at the balcony.
Then she saw him.
Could it be?
No...
It was.
It was Michael Bachelor. Her boyfriend/Best friend from Smugglesworth prep.
She quickly hopped out of the pool and walked up the stairs to meet him.
He had changed so much. He had always had red roots in his messy light brunette hair, and they must've finally grown in. She had fallen, once again, head over heels in love with Michael Bachelor.
She stopped at the top of the stairs and looked him in the eyes.
She remembered the promise they had made on their last day of high school.
"When we meet next, will you marry me?" He asked her intently.
"Of course," she had told him, praying they would meet again.
And finally they had.
She pulled his sweaty body into an embrace.
"Do you remember me?" She asked.
"Yes," He said. And kissed her. This was it. She loved Michael Bachelor. And if the love was still this strong, she knew what to do.
With that she got down on one knee. And with some fat guy working out next to them, in a public gym, Luna Pearl proposed.
Together at last.
Thank you for reading!
